              In this last quarter, school years is nearly ends. And I know that Ma'am Evelyn Vera Cruz is one of the teacher who helped me to learn lot for being a fourth year student...
              As a student, we all know that computers is one of the technology that we are learning today. By the use of that computer we are now updated to many information and easy and faster to do works.
In the help of our practice teacher, she taught us how to use the movie maker. I discovered that movie maker is the best way to use for presenting a reports in our school. Second, she discuss all about adobe  photo shop on how to use it. In here we tried to used it in our image by editing it, by applying the hair coloring, color correction. Making our pictures turns into black and white, and adding a clone stamp. Adobe Photo Shop is the best photo editing software.

           Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing their selves.
           Starting today and starting with me, I will make a change in my life, the lives of my family and the world I live in. The small changes I make in my life today will have a big effect on my future, the future of my family and the world I live in. Change in my world begins with a change in me.
          You want to make a difference in this world, right?I think it is possible to make a difference in the world, perhaps to a small handful of the world’s population. But on the other hand, I don’t think it’s possible to change the world. There’s a difference between changing the world, and making a difference in the world, which is important to recognize because I believe you can do one but you can’t do the other.The other reason why changing the world isn't possible, and I believe this is the main reason, is because we need to change ourselves first.
            To me, it says that we can only change ourselves, and our first priority should be changing our ways and beliefs, cleaning our own doorsteps .It’s not the world that needs to change, it’s ourselves.
If you change the people within the world, the world then changes as a result, it’s not the other way round. I admire the great charities of this world for doing what they do, and for what they’ve accomplished, but ultimately it’s pointless UNLESS those involved change themselves first.

Kannawidan Festival

              Ilocos Sur's Festival aimed to promote and preserve the culture and heritage of the province is set to kick off.Locals revived traditional practices that Ilocano elders passed on in the annual Kannawidan Ylocos festival from January 29 to February 3. Now on its fourth year, the Kannawidan  festival was also an occasion to strengthen the Ilocano culture, recognize Ilocos Sur’s sons and daughters who brought honor to their province, celebrate abundant harvest or just to celebrate the Ilocano spirit that continues to drive locals to boost their home province. Various festivities were staged from trade, agriculture, aqua and livestock while a display of farm products opened the six-day festival. To carve young talents in the field of arts, an array of talent competitions gathered the youth from choral, marching bands, traditional street dancing, traditional music ensemble , dance drama, traditional folk dancing , painting, design making and photo exhibits.This event we can promote our products and make them experience our precious culture at this rate this will increase the popularity of our province but the aim of this festival is to create awareness on the preservation of the province’s rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agricultural and industry products and also to be preserved for the next generations.There was the tribal performance of the cultural communities of Ilocos Sur which is so fascinating. They displayed their talents as well as their indigenous costumes. Partuat ken Patanor Trade Fair showcased the products of the province such as longanisa, bagnet, garlic, bibingka, tinubong and many other foods including handicrafts. There was even eating contests of these delicacies of Ilocos Sur as well as basi drinking contest. Traditional games were played and bingo as well. There were Sarsuela and Komedya Ilocana which were shown. Choir competition was also held.
              A battle of brains and beauty was witnessed during the Saniata ti Ilocos Sur pageant. Art exhibitions and competitions were also conducted. On the spot painting was done by the Saturday group from Manila while The Ilocandia Photographic Society put up its photography exhibit at the Archbishop’s Palace.
It was a fun-filled week of celebration of the Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur.The festival derives it's name from the ilocano term kannawidan meaning traditional that aims to revive and promote the ilocano arts and crafts.

              A lot of times it's hard to hear your own thoughts over your parent's nagging, your teacher's advising and all the people who feel that you will be better off hearing their opinions. Maybe sometimes you think your dream is so far-fetched that it could never happen for you, so you are embarrassed to pursue it. Maybe it's something completely the opposite of what your parents  hoped  for you and you're afraid of hurting their feelings or maybe you have no clue of what you want.
            For me, I have two greatest dream in my life that I really want to achieve . One is to graduate so that I can probably find a work to save money and ready for my future. Second is to marry the man in my future or the man that I dream to marry because I also need love that can be my inspiration in forever so that I will pursue more my dreams..
            Regardless of what your dream is or what it will be someday, do yourself a favor and make sure that whatever it is, it is yours. Dream your dreams, and when they come true you will be so glad you did.. nothing is impossible. Dream big. :)

         As 2013 draws to a close, I  reflect back on everything this year brought me as well what I’ve learned and what I would like to do differently in 2013.

In this 2013 I have lots of resolutions .. In year 2013,many adventurous scenes are happened into my life. There are some sad and happy memories also but I am very thankful to those memories I treasured because of those memories I learned enough how to be a matured person.
        By going to the next chapter of my life 2014, I'll be going to change myself into new me! This time I want to experienced or meet again another adventure, another memories that I will treasure, another friends to meet... This year 2014 I want to become more better person. Forget those problems that I encountered last year and forgive those people who made mistakes to me for the sake of becoming happy person in this 2014. Changing ourselves is not the only way that you are being in a new life or that I am being new me, sometimes we must need to do new to ourselves or encounter a new to our life...
        2014!!! please be good to me :))

                In this third quarter, this time we are going to discover or to do by itself our activities in ICT like editing those we did by applying background  color, background images, aligning those images and home links.. We used the different syntax so that we will successfully done our activities and we did it without mistakes. By doing this activity we learned lot especially me who doesn't  know before how to create or design an HTML file....
               Going to the next quarter or moving on.....
I will improve more my activities, make it better and beautiful .. still going serious to my studies. Listen more to my teacher especially when she is discussing about our lesson :)

                 The true meaning of Christmas is love.The real essence of Christmas is not about the gifts, Christmas is not even about the food and the gift giving.  What Christmas is about is humility and the birth of the savior of mankind, Jesus Christ. This is also the main reason why we should not use the greeting, “Merry X-Mas” because by that we are removing Christ in Christmas.t's that time of year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, turkey dinners with family and friends, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?
                  For many people, Christmas is a time of sorrow. They don't have the extra money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. Many are saddened at Christmastime when they think of their loved ones who will not be able to come home for various reasons. Turkey dinners may be only a wish and not a reality for some.Yet, Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child.
                 Everyday is christmas not only in December 25, so we must give love everyday to all of the people around us :))

                   Climate change is one the problem in our earth because of what we are doing "HUMAN ACTIVITIES". Weather changes from time to time.It could be raining today  but tomorrow might be sunny. Weather is the condition of the atmosphere at a particular place and time. Temperature affects weather. Climate is the average pattern of weather over along period of time. Climate change is the variation of climates over this change are caused by external forces or internal processes affecting earth..
                 Human activities also contribute to climate change. When we burn fossil fuels such as oil and coal, we produce carbon dioxide gas. Greenhouse gas traps solar heat and raises global temperature. The issue of climate change has become a global concern. If human activities continue to emit large quantities of green house gas, further changes in the global climate would occur . Some parts of world would be affected by floods while others would be experienced prolonged drought, it may cause also such as typhoons,floods, landslide, severe El nino and la nina which can be harmful to our health...........

               Imagine a world that has an equal rights of every people or a men or women... Isn't it that it will make our country peaceful? Yes it is....
Equal opportunity is a stipulation that all people should be treated similarly, unhampered by artificial barriers or prejudices or preferences, except when particular distinctions can be explicitly justified.
"Equal rights, equal opportunities: Progress for all" re-emphasizes that equal rights and opportunities lead to improved health outcomes for women and girls.
Discrimination towards women and girls, or what is known as gender-based discrimination, is one of the most pervasive human rights violations. It severely limits the ability of women, girls and the communities they live in to protect and promote their health.IN order to build a great democratic, just, fair and humane society, it is of utmost importance to arouse the broad masses of our people to join the struggle that will ensure "equal rights, equal opportunities and progress for all".
Genuine equality between women and men, girls and boys can only be realised in the process of a just, fair and humane transformation of our society as a whole.
There's need for us to unite and enable women to take their rightful place in production and political activity to improve their economic and political status.
There is need to educate ourselves and others to take a more correct view of women and to actively redress the injustices done to women in all our institutions - the Church, state and family.
Women must not be treated as mere passive participants in national development. But they must enjoy fundamental rights and freedoms befitting all human beings, both in domestic and public life. Women need to be treated justly in families, workplaces, public life and the Church.
              Nowadays, we all know that both men and women has now in equal rights and opportunities.. What men do also women can do. So we should not letting feel inferior the ability of every women because they have the rights to do what they want and many girls now are more successful than men...

                           GOING GLOBAL THROUGH ENGLISH

             The expansion of mother tongue teaching in many countries is held back by the status and power of national and international languages, particularly English.As global communication expands throughout the world, so does the need for a global language. A language that is recognized and understood by people everywhere. In many parts of the world that language has been established, English. In most countries around the globe the English language can be found in some form or another.English has emerged as a global language for many reasons. It may not be the best choice, but the ball has begun to roll. English is a very difficult language to learn, even for its native speakers.People all over the world are trying to learn English so that they may compete globally.It is widely believed that "English is truly the world language." English seems to be emerging, if it has not already arrived, as a global language. If this were to become official it would reduce the number of mis-translations. It would make communication across cultures much easier. Language may be a cornerstone of culture, but the culture itself would not have to disappear if English were used as a second or third language for the pure purpose of communicating globally. Some people feel English language is difficult to learn because the English words sometimes have change. Going Global Means, Alas, English we can observe many possibilities and restriction of English as a global language.

           English may not be the best choice, but it is the obvious choice, for an international language. Whether we like it or not, the English language is becoming the global language. 

     

Modern Day Heroes

           A modern day heroes is a person who faces adversity and danger from a position of weakness and undergoes self sacrifice for the good of the  modern society. such people are admired the most irrespective of their age and the public look up to them for their guidance. In addition, their action may affects just a few people or a large number of people. Heroes don't need to fly or shoot lasers from their eyes to be the one to save countless lives. They don't need super strength  or super speed to be there in someone's hour to be need. They don't need a mask or villainous foe to a save family from certain woe. They just need to try to do what is right; to be the hero, shining in the night.
         I believe a hero is someone who is determined to do good, no matter the cost, a hero is someone who is selfless in bad situations and willing to put their own life at risk so that another person might live to see another day , and finally a hero is a leader and role model to those around them, staying calm and strong in the face of danger...
 We all known heroes are those who died for the country. Those who did great inventions. Those who gave their live for someone else. But we don't consider the fact that heroes can be alive. Heroes can be people we know...  To me a modern day hero would be the fireman or police who put their life on the line for us in everyday.
         But my most modern day hero are my parents, like I consider my parents as my hero it's also because of their sacrifices.. just to give us what we need and to bring us to a good school even that's mean  that they will work hard  just to pay for our tuition fee's and whatever we need in our school . I'm just sad that some kids nowadays don't appreciate their parents like we do....

        Reflections.....in our second quarter or learning in our information computer technology, a side in learning how to create and posting in our blogs In last quarter... Now I learned new again and that was discovering about HTML or hypertext mark up line, by using the notepad we try to create an HTML file and doing our other activities..
        But sometimes there are problems that I encountered in our activities in  notepad.. Like when I am typing our activities I accidentally typing a symbols or letters that are not included so the result will not be perfectly correct or good and on that situation.. I will again change my activity or edit it.
       Moving on... I will do my best so that I will make more all my activities be better and good and I will be challenge myself to improve more my grades in ICT . Keep in studying hard and I always trust myself and discover more ; )

My Teacher, My Hero

             In life people may come and go, some will be remembered and some are forgotten.

But something is for sure, I'll never forget the  person who known us my second parent.

Who did efforts for me to gain knowledge, the one who has been my guide for so many years, the who scolds and correct me when I am doing wrong. the one who has been there as I face to reach the stepping stones in my life.The who appreciates my efforts, the who is always there to feed me a bit-full of information that I might use someday. The one who save me from this unfair life where everyone should be feed with the same level of knowledge. The person who sacrifices for our own good, and yet, the laziness that I've shown them, the tiredness that they have seen from me.

            After all,they never give up and they never stop to fill us with knowledge and when we are going to fall, they are always there to reach our hand and pull us back and so. THE Years might have been overthrown, and everything will fade, but they always be my HERO for life and for all that efforts and sacrifices that they've done for us. How would life be without our teachers.

       In our country we are facing many problems, one of that problem is all about waste disposal.Everywhere we go, we can see a plastics, bottles, papers etc. that are scattered in different places... In sea.. In land.... Those scattered things! waste disposal making our mother earth to cry! it  destroy the beauty of our nature.. Because of  that little scattered things or waste disposal.. During typhoons, it causes flash floods and landslide so many people are affected..

    Come to think of it? What will happen to us if our mother earth will totally be destroy  because of what we are doing to her.. Can we be able to live happily if it will be happen? Now, we must act as a unity to do or build a solution to this problem, we must stand or act as a rule model in everyone... We must have a good discipline. Recycle those waste disposal instead of burning it. Reduce using plastics and scattering to somewhere instead we must put them into the right garbage or trashcans..

     Start now to be patient to our nature and stop now in destroying it.. Act like as a one... Save mother earth and make the battle cry for the future should be "DON'T let the waste disposal to increase and abuse the beauty nature of our mother earth....

       We are a true Pilipino. We are already free and we are not anymore servant to other country. We have our own national flag, we have now our own national anthem and we also have our own dialect or language, which is a Filipino, but why until now we are still using the English dialect and where's now our own Filipino Language?
       We are often hear the saying "Ang Sariling Wika ay Tatak ng ating Pagkalahi...Tatak ng isang Bansang Malaya"..
A country that has a freedom has the right to speak their own language. Our own dialect is the most important ingredients of knowing each individual or a one person, our own language is the symbol of our Nationality like our national flag and national anthem. We should not ashamed to use our own  Filipino language like what Rizal said, " Diyos ang nagbigay nito sa atin.
       They said also that our own language is the strongest way to make a one nation or country become peaceful or unity. In this, we Pilipino's are work in unity to seek the wellfaire  and  to make our country more proud.
So let's be unite and help each other . Accept the truth that our own language is the key to make or move our country free and in a good way.. We must have to prove to the whole world that our country is one of the most country that have also a dialect that we have to be proud of...

                                    REFLECTIONS.... REFLECTS ON ME...

   The discoveries  or learning that I gained are I learned more about history of internet. The importance of it and I also learned how to use blog, how to post there my idea of a one topic and it was my first time to create my own blog.

      The problems or challenges that I encountered is first in our lesson of  ICT my problem is I don't really good in using computers because computers is not my priority in life.I  encountered some challenge too like sometimes I don't understand our lesson in computer.. Second, sometimes the internet is slow that's why i can't browse and i can't do what i want to do, and it makes me panic at all. 

     I addressed this challenges by I pursue or study hard and well to my lessons and now I start practicing  using computers and discovering more about the computer.

     Moving on,... I will improve more myself , focus on my studies, listen very well to our lessons and participate more in our lessons because I want to achieve all my dreams in life..

TOPIC: DepEd
         

           In our country many childrens are not studying because of poverty, or the parents of those children have no money to give to their children. In the SONA of President Benigno Aquino, he mentioned about the one textbook used to be price at 58 pesos has gone down to 30 pesos in public school.

           My reaction is good idea and nice program because it can help the DepEd to save money for almost billion  and for that savings alone, could have repair and rehabilitate around 9502 classrooms. And DepEd now will also have the ability to prepare for the additional needs to the implementation of the K to 12 program and they will build even more chairs and classrooms and will buy even more books to ensure that even the needs in future years will also be met.

          Not only the DepEd, also the parents can help to this idea of Pnoy, also the students. Because of rising number  of enrollees each year Mr. President must implement his promises so that the students will finish their schooling and to accomplish all their ambitions......

              As years,days, months past by, many people are living in our country. Many people are suffering from poverty because of the population we have. Many people experience hunger. One of the main problem in our country is insufficient needs, because of the corruption happening. But not only our country is the reason on why we suffer in poverty and why many people or children are suffering from malnutrition, sometimes also it's our parents fault because they don't know how to teach well their children eats a healthy foods. sometimes they let their children in eating unhealthy foods like candies, junk foods etc. that's why children now a days, they are not in their proper weight or so they are already malnutrition...
            This is not the end of our hope, we must do a solution to avoid malnutrition. We must help each other to maintain our good body nutrition. Encourage to eat a nutritious food, give importance to vegetables and of they must learn their own lessons involving these kind of problems we have...

letter for President of the Philippines

Dear Mr. President Aquino,

              Have a pleasant day to you Mr. President. I hope that you are in a good condition.
 First,thank you for being good and loyal president or leader to our nation. thank you for all those hardworks and sacrifices you did in our nation to become a peaceful one.I know it's hard to be a leader in our nation, because I know that this nation cannot avoid having a problems like crimes, drug addiction, poverty, corruption, growth population and many more.
             As a student, I wrote a letter  because I have one wish and that wish is for helping students for our education by giving any amount of money and help us to fix our rooms to make it beautiful and to build new rooms in every schools here in Ilocos because the number of enrolled students yearly is becoming higher and higher..
